Edition of 30 Created from the original signed sketch Quigley made at Keith Haring's Broadway Soho studio in 1985. They met while both showing at the Henry S. McNeil Gallery in Philadelphia and continued their friendship living a block away from each other on Broadway. Both artists exhibited in galleries and frequently showed their art in nightclubs together like Area, the Limelight, Don Hills, The Kat Klub, Save the Robots and The Palladium with Warhol, Basquiat, Robert Aaron, Rene Richard, Baird Jones during the height of the 1980s downtown art scene. This print preserves a moment from one of the most vibrant periods in contemporary art history, when Haring and Quigley were part of the explosive creative energy defining New York's art world. Hand-signed, artist-supervised, archival museum-quality print. Limited edition of 30.
