We couldn't be more different yet somehow we are so alike, connected at the core. This was the album art for the single “July” by Chords of Eve, created by graphic designer Tatiana Jitkoff. The song itself is a love letter written by a man to surprise and comfort his fiancé as they began to tear apart their long planned wedding during the early months of the pandemic. "If July never comes, it won't change how I feel". Seeing the stress and sadness she was going through, worried that she was losing everything, he wanted to assure her that even if it all went away, he would still be there… “We planned, unplanned, replanned the wedding repeatedly. What began as sacrifices of fun details became sacrifices of things that felt more important…and then further stripped down to the bare bones- a handful of people in our front yard. Some of the most important people in our lives could not be there and it was devastating. The people who were there, we couldn't even hug or see their faces behind masks. So in the context of crying daily and watching the news, Atlas calls me into his studio to hear “July” for the first time… Looking back, our day was more special because of how simple and pure it became, and because we embraced the most important part - our commitment to each other in the face of whatever comes…” Her love letter in response was to design this graphic for him (Yeah, it's a true story) So this artwork and the music that comes with it is a true collaboration of love.
