General:These are beautiful speakers from JS Labs (Focal). Made in France.The combination of brushed aluminum, gloss black, and wood finishes make them look stunning. The wood finish even carries down to the stands.Drivers include a grey 6.5in mid/bass unit that utilizes a polykevlar construction, along with  a 1in tweeter. The polykevlar "sandwitch" structure is ideal for improving the compromise between weight, rigidity, and damping.
