Slater "Trainer" True Log

If our "Pro Series" Log is an heirloom table, this is the workbench!  The "Trainer" Log is a historically-inspired, stripped down version of our standard "True Logs". We have designed these with the intention of providing a high-quality wooden log that has the same feel as our standard "True Logs", is easy to maintain, and comes in at a price point similar to a quality metal log.  If you have been wanting a Slater Log but are afraid others might not take care of it as well you, this is your solution. We purposefully do a light, basic sanding that holds chalk well and prevents any major splintering. We omit stain and clear coat, which allows scratches, gouges, etc. to be left alone or easily sanded out with no refinishing required. Without rope, the logs have a lighter opening weight, but the sleeve-ends allow over 300lbs to be added using standard 25lb plates.  Plus, the 6', 7', and 8' Trainer Logs still come with Precision-Balancing, just like our "Pro Series" Logs.  Like all of o
