Zahel Orange Traube 2022

100% Orangetraube Commonly found in field blends called Gemischter Satz, Zahel Winery is the only producer in Austria making a single-varietal wine from this varietal native to Austria and Germany. This rare varietal is aromatic and refreshingly acidic that actually isn't an orange wine despite Orangetraube translating to "orange grape" - it is named for the grape's orange tint at peak ripeness. Zahel's Orangetraube is a white wine with 36 hours of skin contact before pressing. It is spotaneously fermented, aged on lees for 6 months in stainless steel.
