For about as long as I have been tying perdigons I have had the goal of taking the Pheasant Tail nymph, one of the most universally effective nymph pattern, and producing a quick(er) sinking and more durable perdigon equivalent. After years of trial and error I have finally cracked the code of this stubborn pursuit! This is a perdigon variation of one of the most iconic Pheasant Tail variations, the Flashback Pheasant Tail.
