Mexico Mazateca Mujeres

Mazateca Mujeres is a selection of microlots, all delivered under the name of a female producer. Since these parchment deliveries are effectively too small to consider as a complete separation, a 'community microlot' was built. These lots are stellar, all scoring between 86-87 points and they have too admirable of quality to just be blended away.  The Sierra Mazateca of Oaxaca is full of vibrant coffees and a local culture to match. We are especially excited to offer a selection of lots solely produced by women. It is often men who get all the credit despite women playing an active role in the manual labor on the farm, as well as high-level decision making. What you’ll find in the cup is truly special. The mouthfeel is intensely smooth and the aftertaste is that of a rich dark chocolate with subtle fruity characteristics.
