100% natural stone that is safe for your aquarium and has been sourced, sorted, washed, and packaged by our family owned business in the USA.  The color is a gorgeous deep grey.  Each package is a micro sized sand version of our slate Perfect scale for model terrain, wargaming miniatures, dioramas, model railways and miniature gardens Great as a topper for bonsai, succulents and other potted plants. Pairs perfectly with our larger slate stones and smaller gravel for a cohesive, natural scene.  Because this is a natural stone, some white quartz or brown stones may be mixed in that add to the natural look.
