This tasty, meaty tomato comes from the Black Sea region of Russia. where tomatoes are serious business. Large round fruits ripen to a deep red color and weigh up to a pound. The interior flesh is often lime green and scarlet, making for one psychedelic slice. Flavor is full-bodied, complex, and intense as with most black tomatoes, though this one is early as well.
