Introduction to Furniture Construction (LEVEL 2): MAKING A SHAKER END TABLE

This class will be offered again in the Spring semester of 2026.  Please check back for an updated schedule around November 2025! Thank you for your interest. This woodworking class is for students who have completed the introductory, level 1 class here at Smith Vocational Adult Education or in a comparable program.  Students must have prior training in a woodworking class within the last five years.  Students will learn to layout, mill, assemble and finish a traditional shaker table with tapered legs and mortise and tenon joints. 7 sessions: Wednesdays 6pm - 8:30pm Start Date: January 22, 2025 End Date: March 12, 2025 No class on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (School Winter Break) Cost: $250 for 7 sessions
