Remote Band/Wind Ensemble

Spring Term: January 25, 2021 - June 11, 2021 Remote Band is a virtual band class. It's divided into A (advancing beginners) and B (beginners). Band rehearsals are on a weekly schedule. Sectional rehearsals and group lessons are scheduled at different times of the week than band rehearsal. Remote Band can be taught entirely online via Zoom and several other web apps. Students will need an instrument, music stand, headset (long wired or wireless), access to laptop/desktop. Books will be an additional cost. Digital books and music designed for this course are all included with the tuition. Optional, but recommended, access to iPad or other tablet to better "write/draw" notes and do theory homework. Instruments: You will need your own instrument, whether rental or owned. We have a limited supply of special starter instruments for smaller or younger beginners that may be rented.
