Rubescens Peacock

Aulonocara rubescens This variety of the Sunshine Peacock was selected for its bright red body that has specs of brilliant blue.  These Peacocks will display a solid blue head.  Younger males will appear more yellow until reaching a more mature size. Adult Size:  5-6" Temperament:  Peaceful, conspecific aggressive. Compatibility:  Keep with other Peacocks and Haps of a similar size. Avoid keeping with Mbunas. Suggested Diet:  SRC Hi-Intensity color food to promote color development.
