Cucumis melo The standard heirloom cantaloupe, yummy and reliable. Since its introduction in 1920, Hale's Best Cantaloupe has been winning competitions, for good reason. Large, sweet, easy-to-grow melons are reliably productive and have a quintessential cantaloupe flavor. Finely netted skins and bright orange flesh.
