You could even use yarn and use it as a teaching tool for children! These state silhouettes vary in size and total stitch count. But most are approximately 10 inches at the widest/tallest/longest point. Spacing is approximately 11-12 holes per inch however every state has a different number of holes and layout that matches the state's shape. The holes are large enough for most standard size embroidery or cross stitch needle. Made of 1/3 inch thick baltic birc
