The Rocky Guard RG7 snow guard is 7" overall length, designed for new installation on asphalt shingles and retro-fit installation on cedar shake, synthetic and metal shingle roofs. New installation requires a minimum of three (3) ring-shank nails per snow guard while retro-fit installation uses three (3) Woodbinder Eclipse Fasteners (sold separately).
