She finds endless inspiration in the beautiful complexity of the natural world, and the colors of the changing seasons. A former elementary school art teacher, Carrie now works full-time as an illustrator, utilizing a variety of media, both traditional and digital. She works from her home studio in Columbia, Missouri.
