Before we launched SOBU and back when Alessandro was designing for a large furniture company, he decided to take his 10-year bonus and design the dream dining table for our home. Based on the reaction we received from family and friends every time they joined us at our table and we extended the leaves in front of them, we knew someday we would love to make our table for others. Then came along SOBU!  Our Hinge Extendable Table can be fully customized to your specifications and is a made-to-order piece. You can choose the wood, the depth, and specify any other details. The extendable leaves are integral to the table and do not need to be stored when not in use. Gorgeous waterfall effect when leaves are down. 1.75" thick solid eastern white oak with a durable Osmo oil finish. 3/8" thick steel base with a black, hand-waxed patina.
