It mounts securely to the side of most kettles using two easy-to-adjust thumbscrews: one to attach to the kettle, and another to raise or lower the arm for your grain depth. The included 1/2" ball valve helps fine-tune your flow, and an internal check ball prevents unwanted backflow during operation.
