The Wheaten Terrier is from Ireland. He is a Medium Size Terrier and has a medium energy level. They are said to be deeply devoted and friendly and happy dogs. It is said that the Wheaten will greet you intensely if you are gone for a few minutes to hours but leave them for longer you get something called a, "Wheaten Greetin'!" They have a Soft Coat and have that name as the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. They were recognized by the AKC in 1973 and are #69 on the Most Popular Breed List. Under the Cuff on both sides reads in Bold White Print, "Wheaten".  In the First Top Diamonds are a Front and Side Profile of the Dogs. The colors use are Wheat, Umber around the Ears, Tan around the Nose and Brown for Shading, Black is for the Nose, Mouth and Eyes.
