In 2016, aluminum balisongs were controversial and many people believed that aluminum wasn't a viable material due to its low durability. Our first product, the Squidtrainer, changed that notion and redefined what was possible by being the first channel aluminum trainer with press-fit zen pins. That product created the foundation for Squid Industries and the rest of the balisong industry. The Swordfish pushes the limit yet again by being the first production balisong to feature an all-aluminum pinless design.
