Small batch, handmade Ceramics from Ahyun Studio in Seoul, South Korea. Ceramics are made using Buncheong Inwhamun technique. Buncheong is a form of traditional Korean stoneware with a bluish-green tone. Pots are coated with a white slip, and decorative designs are stamped or painted on using an iron pigment. This style of stoneware arose in the 14th century and continues today with variation in finish and glaze. Fired in kiln at about 2264 °F (1240 °C), the ceramic glaze is made of natural clay and ash, resulting in a unique milk white or black glaze finish and are non-toxic.
