'Lady, Eboni's Curls' is a statement piece about African-American women's newfound appreciation for their own natural hair. This piece was conceived at the awakening point of the natural hair movement of African-American people because for many years African-American people were led to believe their natural features were not beautiful for years, until this moment when African- Americans and other people of Afro descendants broke through the oppressive patterns and relearned how to love and maintain their own unique beauty.
