Calendula & Shea Butter Soap

This soap was inspired by and made from the calendula flowers grown in my garden last summer. The flowers were harvested and infused into Kukui Nut Oil & Sweet Almond Oil. There are also some dried calendula petals in this soap too. The scent is dry and floral, with a big mandarin orange influence.  Calendula is a centuries old ally for skin vibrancy. It's rich in anti-oxidants, anti inflammatory, anti-microbial, soothing, great for acne, evens skin tone, promotes healing. Paired with Moroccan Rhassoul Clay, is a mineral clay rich in magnesium and potassium which helps reduce skin dryness, and improves skin clarity and firmness. Castor Oil and Turmeric Powder in this one as well. This traditional soap making process takes over two months, but is more gentle, naturally hydrating, and allows for the incorporation of more delicate oils and botanicals without compromising their potency.
