Chelbesa One is a coffee that rewards attention — bright, nuanced, and exceptionally clean. With notes of blackberry and nectarine, it’s lively yet precise, a little drier than Hamasho, our natural Ethiopian offering, but just as complex. For a perfect cup of drip coffee, Chelbesa One is hard to beat, revealing layers of fruit and sweetness that surprise you with each sip. This lot comes from the Chelbesa One Washing Station in the Gedeb Zone, Ethiopia, managed by SNAP Specialty Coffee. Approximately 1,000 smallholder farmers contribute cherries from 2–3 hectare plots at elevations between 1,950 and 2,200 meters. The lot consists of Ethiopian Heirloom varieties Korume and Wolisho, carefully sorted, depulped, and fermented for 2–3 days before being washed and dried on raised beds for 7–10 days — all closely monitored to ensure clarity, consistency, and vibrant character. We recommend brewing Chelbesa One as a pour-over or in a drip setup, where its bright, clean flavors really shine. It
