Riedel RiFace G2 Radio Interface for Clear-Com
Riedel RiFace G2 Radio Interface for Clear-Com Must be purchased as part of an Artist matrix system The RiFace is a universal radio interface to link wired communication systems with radio systems. Originally introduced in 1992, Riedel‘s RiFace established itself as the standard for the integration of 2-way radios into wired intercoms. The 19”/2RU interface includes one or two radios, processor logic to control the radios as well as circuitry to adjust the levels of the various audio sources. Set-up and operation is fast and easy. The basic version uses one radio and provides one simplex radio link. It either receives or transmits at any one time, so that speech direction is changed by TX modulation and TX non-modulation. To adapt to a wide range of applications transmitter keying can be done in various ways, i.e. by operating the PTT switch, by call light signals on the 2-wire partyline intercom, by vox-activation on the 4-wire audio input (VOX) or via an external contact closure.
