Originally introduced in 1992, Riedel‘s RiFace established itself as the standard for the integration of 2-way radios into wired intercoms. The 19”/2RU interface includes one or two radios, processor logic to control the radios as well as circuitry to adjust the levels of the various audio sources. Set-up and operation is fast and easy. The basic version uses one radio and provides one simplex radio link. It either receives or transmits at any one time, so that speech direction is changed by TX modulation and TX non-modulation.
