The ShowerBuddy (SB1) transfer system will transform your existing curbed shower into an accessible, barrier-free shower in minutes. This chair allows the user to enjoy showering again without the high cost, delay, and stress of a full bathroom remodel. The SB1 alleviates heavy lifting and multiple transfers for toileting and showering. This chair is separated into three sections: rolling base (shower chair), bridge, and shower base. The rolling base can double as a bedside commode. It also rolls around the house like a wheelchair, allowing a user to easily transfer and roll into the bathroom area and over the toilet. When toileting is complete, the rolling base and shower base are connected using the bridge, allowing the chair to slide over the curb and into the shower stall.
