SGI - Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)
(1-Day / 10-hours) This course has been determined to qualify for AZ POST (continuing or proficiency) training credit. The SGI Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course, is designed for the student who has already received basic medical training. Our course introduces students to evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care in the field. Students are encouraged to bring their own personal or agency issued trauma kit in an effort to become familiar with the contents and their proper use. Realistic training scenarios will reinforce the need to operate tactically in hostile environments, including proper use of cover, cover fire and hand/arm signals. Students are expected to utilize any agency-issued equipment they typically train with and use on actual operations (i.e. medic bag, litters/drags, body armor, eye/ear protection etc) during this course.
