2016 Domaine des Roches Neuves (Thierry Germain) Saumur-Champigny 'Les Memoires'

Thierry relocated to the Loire from Bordeaux in the early 1990s, and soon fell under the influence of his spiritual father, Charly Foucault of Clos Rougeard. Thierry’s domaine vineyards planted in the Saumur and Saumur-Champigny, has become one of the greatest examples of high achievement in biodynamic vine growing in France. His incredibly diverse terroirs are translated with utter clarity and precision. This cuvée is sourced from Chaintres de Varrains and Saumur, 100% de-stemmed, aged in stainless steel and wood tanks for 3-4 months.
