Fourth generation vigneron Frederic Minière fell in love with barrel-aged champagne while working with Ansleme Selosse in the 1990s. This experience inspired him, alongside his brother Rodolphe, to begin estate bottling wines under the family name. It comes from a plot planted in 1973, at a place called "Les Voirmissa" in Hermonville, with 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier. Vinification and aging in oak barrels for 8 months, aging in bottle for 5 years on lees and one year of aging after disgorgement.
