Reviews: 90 points Vinous, "The 1970 Chambertin Grand Cru is clear and fully-mature in colour. The bouquet is gentle and well-defined with red cherries and strawberry, plenty of sous-bois, orange blossom and just a hint of garrigues. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly rustic tannins, ferrous in style, a little dryness on the finish, but I appreciate the spiciness on the aftertaste. This is a very commendable 1970. (NM)"
