1976 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti La Tache 750ml

Reviews: 92 points Burghound, "I hadn't had this in a number of years and by coincidence I had it side by side with the same wine in magnum (see the 750 ml review herein). I was surprised to find that there was really very little difference between the two and while the magnum was slightly more vibrant, they were otherwise similar. There is a lovely aged burg nose of Asian spices, dried rose petal and plenty of sous bois with pretty, nicely spicy flavors that still have some tannin evident on the lingering if slightly robust finish. I would be inclined to drink up though it will certainly continue to hold. (AM)"
