Champagne Alexandra Sainz family roots run deep, tracing its viticultural heritage back to 1741 in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy, in the heart of Champagne, France. Alexandra Sainz, the current winemaker, is a ninth-generation winegrower who inherited a profound legacy of grape growing from her parents and grandparents. She graduated from the Ecole Viticole de Champagne in Avize with a diploma in viticulture and oenology, equipped to carry forward her family’s tradition with both passion and modern expertise. The family's commitment to viticulture has endured through historical hardships including phylloxera, wars, and changing economic conditions, yet their residence and vineyards remain remarkably preserved. Alexandra officially launched her own brand in 2021, focusing on wines primarily from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the family’s meticulously maintained Grand Cru vineyards in Bouzy.
