We always find ourselves in the midst of great wines but on rare occasions we’ll uncover one that goes beyond what we thought was achievable. That’s what happened last year when we discovered a tiny parcel of 2014 “Les Herbeux” and subsequently sold it all in a matter of hours. It’s happening again: Just weeks ago, we caught wind that Domaine Calliot had released yet another small parcel from their cellar, so for those who missed it—and judging by the mass inquiries, there’s many of you—here’s your second and final shot.This exemplary, incomprehensibly priced white Burgundy is sourced from an organically farmed vineyard and hails from one of my favorite “classic” vintages of contemporary times.
