Rheinhessen is the largest wine region in Germany, but fordecades the area was synonymous with bulk-production Liebraumilch. His family’sholdings mostly went into sparkling production, but Daniel Wagner has been an influential player in the Rheinhessen's quality revolution. Today, the region’s wines are on par with that of the Mosel. This Gutswein bottling (the estate's entry-level wine) punches way above its weight. Vinified in two-thirdsstainless-steel and one-third oak. Marked by a deep, ripe, and concentratedbouquet. Juicy red-skinned apples intertwine with lime and lemongrass. Thesleek mineral finish compliments the whole package!
