Tortillero (wood)

Hand carved tortilla warmer. Made out of palo fierro (ironwood) Made in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico. Ideal for keeping tortillas warm. It can be used for bread as well and similar things. How to use: warm up tortillas in a comal (griddle/hotplate/etc.) and wrap them in a kitchen cloth. DO NOT place tortilla warmer in an oven, stove, etc. This is not a cooking tool, it is meant to keep food warm.  DO NOT hand wash it or place it in a washing machine. Use a dry cloth to clean any debris. *Includes kitchen cloth seen in picture. Shapes can vary slightly as they are hand carved.
