The sculpture is composed of copper and steel. The copper sheets were hand-hammered and subsequently cut to form each distinct body component, such as the feathers, head, and wings. These pieces were then attached to the armature using copper wire to complete the sculpture. The feathers were designed to respond to slight air movements, creating the illusion of flight. The Orion Sky Bird III is the work of artist Shahla Reynolds. The dimensions of the sculpture are 24 inches in height, 28 inches in width, and 28 inches in depth.
