OVERVIEW DESCRIPTION HUB DETAILS The 6-Star Mega Hub connector is an integral component of all Sonostar Mega Domes and Mega Spheres. There are more 6-Star hubs in every dome than any other part. 'Mega' refers to the size of the hubs and fits 1" or 1.5" PVC unlike 'standard' hubs, which only fit 1/2" PVC. Spare hubs are always good to have around. These 6-Star Mega Hub Dome Connectors feature beveled holes so that your bolt heads fit flush on the top. They all have molded holes in each arm, and a 10 degree curvature built in. If you're setting up and tearing down a lot, it's always good to have some spares. Our 6-Star hubs are designed to be used with either 1" or 1 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC tubing. Since PVC pipe is measured by the inside diameter of the pipe, it should be noted that the outside diameter of the MegaHubs corresponds to the inside diameter of a 1 1/2" PVC pipe.
