Plague Doctor Ring
Cast in our signature ring mold from high-grade stainless steel, this ring resembles the mask worn by plague doctors during the 17th and 18th century that was worn while treating the bubonic plague. Background The plague doctor wore a heavy black cloak and mask, to protect him from the deadly contagion. He had seen too many people die from the plague, and was determined to do whatever he could to stop it.He walked through the streets of the city, his cloak billowing behind him in the wind. The people avoided him, fearing that they might catch the disease. But the plague doctor was not afraid. He was brave and courageous, and would do whatever it took to save them.He treated anyone who came to him, even if they were already infected. He knew that there was no cure for the plague, but he could at least ease their suffering. He gave them all he had – his time.
