The Vanity Fair company started in 1899 with 2 textile mills in PA. They slowly introduced synthetic fibers and by 1947 were using only nylon. This dress with its low Ved neckline and slight empire waist dates from the early 70s. The waist has a drawstring which is tied in the front and can easily be adjusted. The sleeves has a slight dolman style. The full skirt is pleated at the waist. The pattern is sunflowers in shades of red and orange on a navy blue background with white polkadots. T such an easy dress to wear and so stylish. Measures as follows Shoulders 15, Sleeves 23, Armhole 8.5, Bust up to 36, Waist up to 29, Hips 40, Length 54, excellent condition no snags in the fabricĀ
