Set of three nesting Imari polychrome bowls, each in scallop-rimmed, lobed, chrysanthemum shape with four repeating fabric patterns in blue underglaze and exquisitely painted cobalt, red, gold and apricot enamel overglaze. Patterns on exterior repeated inside, surrounding a paler blue blossom center. Largest is 9-5/8” diameter x 4-3/8” high. Medium: 8-3/4” x 4-1/16”. Small: 7-3/4” x 3-3/4”. Each in excellent condition. Meiji period.
