122 hrs of fear features people’s experiences at shows that I started during quarantine when shows weren’t possible. Jesse Michaels wrote about seeing Flipper when he was 12(w photos that are insane). Tobi Vail wrote about seeing Wipers during Youth of America tour. My friend Jolie wrote about seeing Daddy Yankee at Coney Island on LSD.  There are things about getting beat up for your skateboard after seeing COC in 1985/sneaking into a prince show for rich people /a ton of cool and wild random things.Our take: This giant, ambitious, full-color, square-bound zine comes to us from Layla Gibbon, former Maximumrocknroll coordinator, member of Girlsperm, and all-around punk historian and aesthete. I was super stoked to devour this mag, and even with my high expectations, it blew them out of the water.
