Sewing Techniques

Give your skills a serious upgrade in this hands-on, technique-focused workshop! Saturday, Nov 29th, 11-12:30pm, Course Fee $30.  Perfect for beginners ready to level up or intermediate sewists who want cleaner, more professional finishes. In this 1 1/2hr workshop, students will learn and practice some commonly used sewing machine-based techniques used in garment construction and everyday sewing. Step-by-step, you’ll explore: ✨ Straight Stitch Mastery — how to sew steady, accurate seams✨ Sewing a Zipper — installing zippers neatly using the zipper foot✨ Buttonholes — creating clean, even buttonholes using your machine’s settings✨ French Seams — learning this beautiful, enclosed seam for a polished, high-end finish Students will practice each technique on sample fabrics to keep for their construction library. Waiver forms required to be signed. No refunds unless workshop is canceled. Prerequisite: Must have sewn before on the sewing machine.
