Join Soul Lift Cacao founder Nick Meador for a guided tasting to learn about all the subtle differences in our single-origin cacao varieties from Latin America. We'll taste five pure ceremonial cacao varieties, all prepared as your choice of totally unsweetened or "70% dark" with coconut sugar. All the cacao is prepared in small batches by indigenous people in Latin America, and sourced through ethical direct trade. The seeds (aka "beans") are roasted over wood fire and peeled by hand the traditional way. With a "tree to cup" slideshow presentation, you'll learn about the whole life cycle of cacao (the original form of chocolate) and how to use all your senses to really appreciate the subtle differences.
