Jícaras (pronounced "HEE-cah-rahs") have been used throughout history as cups, and are still used to this day for special drinks in Latin America. "Jícara" is Spanish for gourd. These ones are about 4-6" across the opening and are uncarved. They come from Utz K'aslemal, the makers of La Noche cacao, from Sololá, in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. *Jicaras are hand-wash only *Each order quantity is for one jícara Want a base to set a jicara on?
