Lepidolite - Thick Slice

  Lepidolite has only recently become available over the past decade or so.  This beautiful crystal is a combination of lavender, pink, & violet hues that shine in light. Lepidolite is made of mica & the color comes from lithium. Lithium is used in rechargeable batteries for mobile phones, laptops, digital cameras and electric vehicles.  Lithium can also be found in the use of heart pacemakers.  Mica is an extremely good conductor of heat, while also excellent electrical insulation material. Mica is the only solid material having this property.  Lepidolite has been called the "peace stone" or "grandmother stone" because it is thought to have nurturing and calming properties. Lepidolite's metaphysical properties are similar to that of industries uses for it.  It is said to be a barrier to negative energy, & bringing a sense of security.
