Designed and developed in the USA for use in both your home and studio, Applied Research and Technology’s DJPRE II (formerly known as "Phono MicroPRE") is a high-quality Phono preamp that provides you with an interface between your turntable and your audio recording system. The unit's analog input capacitance is switchable between 100pf and 200pf to optimize the response of your phono cartridge. Additionally it includes a switchable low-cut filter that provides for removal of turntable rumble with no other alteration in the audio. It features a front gain trim control and signal/clip LED that enables you to optimize the preamp's gain to accommodate a wide range of input sources. Its onboard low noise Phono preamp circuitry is highly precise and accurately conforms to the RIAA standard.
