Medial/Lateral Extension

Engineered to alter forces on foals with angular limb deformities, medial/lateral extensions are used mostly in a toe-in (fetlock varus) situation.  Available as an aluminum or urethane shoe, both feature a low profile design that allows for normal frog and sole loading and can be shaped to fit.  Ensure a proper trim before application.  Aluminum extensions can be easily drilled for the application of traction devices.Urethane extensions are 25-35% lighter than metal extensions allows for normal expansion and growth of the capsule while applied.  Sold single.
