Data Sheet The SMG-2 sound masking generator produces an analog pink noise signalthat is fed to sound masking amplifiers (ordered separately) in order toproduce random low-level background noise to mask ambient noise and aidconversational privacy.The pre-EQ output has a flat spectrum that can be used as an input toequalizers that feed power amplifiers for masking systems that require preciseequalization.The post-EQ output is adjusted by bass, mid and treble controls, and can beused for less demanding applications that utilize basic spectrum shaping.FEATURES:• Outputs:– Pre-EQ hi-Z line level (~500mV)– Post-EQ hi-Z line level (~500mV)– Pink noise (equal energy per octave)– Adjustable post-EQ• Connections: RCA phono jacks• Controls: Bass, mid, treble, and volume allow for basic noise spectrumshaping without an external equalizer.• Chassis: 12.2" x 1.5" x 6" steel chassis with black powder epoxy finish.
