Especially the Hi-Hats sounds full and beefy, making it easy for the drummer to build his grooves based on a solid, dragging subdivision.  Turkuaz series cymbals can be ordered in Medium or Jazz weight, which makes them great multi-purpose cymbals. As a result of the reduced overtones they are easy to control, with a slightly woody stick definition and a strong attack followed by a medium short sustain.
