UHMW Sheet is an extremely abrasion and impact resistant material. UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) polyethylene is moisture and chemical resistant. It’s popular for wear resistant applications, such as chain guides and wear strips. Polyethylene can be easily fabricated with ordinary tools to replace metal and nylon materials. Popular uses include lining chutes and hoppers, conveyor and food processing parts, gear, and bushings.
